Cowboy and Wild Horses

About me

I have had a passion for horses for as long as I could remember.  I started riding at the age of eight and since then have been on a life long journey of learning from every horse that has come into my life.  As I progressed to teaching and training with horses, I always wanted to find a simpler solution for the training issues I encountered.  Solutions, that there was less chance of horses or people getting hurt.

I started to see more and more that the training problems that I had, was the horses way of saying that they physically couldn't do something for one reason or another. This started me on a long road of researching different therapies and how I could help the horse.    Over the years, I was continually impressed with the changes I saw with CranioSacral work.

In 2022 I had an opportunity to go learn, in person with Maureen Rogers, who pioneered CranioSacral for horses.  I am her only student in Ontario, out of the handful that are in Canada. The hands on learning was so valuable and can not wait to help you with the same problems that I have struggled with for so many years.

Since then I have been travelling all over the province helping horses and owners.

I am looking forward to completing levels 5 and 6 with Maureen Rodgers in 2024!

Equine Cranioscral

Addresses the head with extremely light touch and facilitates in helping the body heal itself.  When combined in a session with fascia release on the whole body, it has a profound, long lasting effect.  CranioSacral is the only therapy that address the head.  CranioSacral was born out of Osteopathy by William Southerland and shortly became its own therapy. In the 90's Maureen Rogers pioneered working on horses with CranioSacral and has made it her field of specialty with many years of research.

So what horse benefits from having CranioSacral work done?

Any horse that has had

~  Pullbacks

~ Dental Work

Recommended schedule for most horses is 10-14 days between the first and second treatment.  Third treatment should be three weeks after the second treatment.  For horses in severe pain, head shakers and horses that can not eat I will recommend appointments closer together.
